CBC’s 16th Annual Spring Celebration will be held at the Marriott Hotel in Fremont on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. Last year the tickets were sold out weeks before the event so we are encouraging all CBC supporters to save the date well in advance. We will disseminate more information through our website, flyers and other media in the near future.
The Annual Spring Celebration is the CBC’s annual major fundraiser from which it obtains the necessary resources to continue to provide the myriad of community service projects in Fremont and other cities. Over the years, this event has been receiving increasing accolade for its creative entertainment, gourmet food, fabulous raffle opportunities and of course, the convivial environment. Last year our featured guest was Martin Yan, world-renowned celebrity chef. This year, we will feature a talent contest similar to the overwhelmingly popular “American Idol” show and the winners can look forward to sizeable cash prizes. Also, we will celebrate the Olympic Games this year, which will be hosted by the city of Beijing in China.
